'American Idol' Top 24: Elli Rowe gets Lionel's approval as fans groove to her song
The fans of ‘American Idol’ Season 20 already saw the top 24 from Hollywood week and now it was time to filter them down to the top 20. Emyrson Flora, Katyrah Love, Jay Copeland, Nicolina Bozzo, and Leah Marlene were some of the top crooners who easily sailed through to the next round. The latest episode saw the show moving to Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii where the singers performed in front of a live audience along with the judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.
The brand new episode also saw Season 10 Idol alum Jimmie Allen serving as a mentor. With an intention to get votes from the American audience sitting at home, singer Elli Rowe landed on the stage with her guitar and performed her rendition of ‘Everywhere’ by Fleetwood Mac. Speaking of her set, Luke stated that she had the ability to take the performance to a different level whereas, Richie claimed that she checked the boxes of both live performance and studio recording.

Apart from the judges, the social media users too seemed impressed with her live performance in Hawaii. “Elli Rowe singing a country-style version of “Everywhere,” one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. The next one shared, “Elli Rowe is hands down my favorite voice from the show in all the years I’ve watched. Gorgeous voice!
