Who is Sage?

Sage, whose full name is Sage McNeely, is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Burbank, California. Her Instagram with close to 3K followers tells us she recently dropped an EP called ‘Metamorphosis’ that is up for streaming on leading platforms. Her Instagram also got the ‘Om’ symbol on her wall which tells us that the pop-loving crooner is spiritual at heart. The talented singer was a winner in the popular voice category of the National YoungArts Week competition in the year 2020. In 2019, she won a $5,000 scholarship as one of two grand prize winners in the non-classical voice category of the Music Center’s Spotlight program for young musicians.

Talking about her audition, the Burroughs High School graduate in January shared a picture of hers saying, “MAMA I’M ON TV! beyond excited to finally announce my secret project. make sure to tune into @americanidol to see me sing my little heart out and hopefully steal America’s heart. She then recently shared another post about her audition sayig, “You have all been waiting so patiently and well… THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! This sunday after the #oscars my #AmericanIdol audition will be airing! Thank you again to everyone for being such a great support system! Love you all!”  Sage is heavily inspired by her father when it comes to music.
