‘American Idol’ season 20 is all set to air its third episode on Sunday, March 13, with a unique contestant named D3vine. We got to know the singer and rapper auditioned for the singing reality show after he shared the pictures on his official Instagram account. For the latest season, judges namely Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan made a comeback on the ABC network for the fifth time. Ryan Seacrest is hosting the popular show like always.
 
D3vine, who stays very active on social media platforms, is expected to bring heat to the audition stage with his magnetic personality. Singers namely Ryleigh Madison, Sam Finelli, Cadence Baker, and Mark Osborne are some of the other contestants who will also try their luck to win the golden ticket to Hollywood on the show. Luke Taylor, Lady K, Christian Guardino, and Aaron Westberry among a few others easily sailed through their auditions in the previous episode.

Who is D3vine?

D3vine’s real name is Devin Michael Sewall who was born in the year 1994. The Portland native is not only a singer but also a rapper who keeps his followers on Instagram hooked with his unusual posts. He is also a Fire, LED, and a belly dancer. He believes in creating magic with his art whether it is singing or dancing. D3vine has released a bunch of original projects where the latest is called ‘Jinn’. Some of his prominent songs are ‘Witch S**t’ that was released in October 2021 along with ‘Maithuna’ which was dropped at the same time. He had also released a song called ‘Kurukulla / LGBTQIA+’. Looking at his social media posts, it appears D3vine is heavily inclined towards spirituality and Hinduism.
 
The 28-year-old crooner’s bio on Bandcamp reads, “Up-and-coming with a magical sense of style, he hopes to inspire people to radiate authenticity and be themselves, unapologetically. With spiritual glitz & hype, matrix-like vocals, D3VINE is a unique force to be reckoned with.” The singer-rapper had given a live audition for ‘American Idol’ season 20. On Instagram, he D3vine enjoys close to 4K followers which is bound to increase once his audition airs. His bio on the photo-sharing app reads, “Inspiring Authenticity, Destroying Old Paradigms.”



 



 

 
The third episode of ‘American Idol’ season 20 will air on ABC at 8 pm ET. The show is expected to air a total of18 episodes and might wrap up in late May. The auditions for the new season were held in Los Angeles, Austin, and Nashville. Online auditions too happened with virtual sessions. While the format of the show will remain the same, a new platinum ticket has been introduced that would allow the holders to skip the first day of Hollywood Week.
