Angry fans dub 'American Idol' country fan show after Mike Parker, Noah Thompson move to Top 11

'The recently aired episode of 'American Idol' left a lot of fans fuming. After the Top 14 performers gave their performance, the audience were given a small window of time to vote for the contestants they believed deserved to be on the Top 11 list.

The show's host Ryan Seacrest finally announced the results towards the end of the episode and revealed that Ava Maybee, Allegra Miles, and Dan Marshall had been voted out, while the remaining 11 contestants made the cut to the Top 11 round. Fans were annoyed when they realized that Noah Thompson and Mike Parker managed to get through, while talented performers like Allegra and Ava were shown the door.

Several fans took to Twitter to slam the show and its audience for continuing to vote for country performers despite their performance failing to hit the mark. A fan tweeted, "Mike is terrible not sure why he was saved last week #americanidol I was expecting this but he was so bad." "I'm not even done watching (putting the kids down set me back like an hour) but how the hell did Mike and Lady K make it through and Allegra didnt!? Wtf!? MIKE!? I havent heard him yet tonight but I've dislike every performance of his #americanidol," wrote a fan. "Mike Parker isn’t a country singer, and doesn’t deserve to be in the top 11 .. America has failed me yet again #AmericanIdol," echoed a fan.

Another fan shared, "I really love Noahs voice but his confidence is lacking. The fact him and Mike made it through and Ava didn't shows this is really a country fan show #AmericanIdol." "I like Noah but I got vibes tonight that he's ready to go home? Idk. Didn't seem too excited to be there #americanidol," observed a fan. "How on earth did Noah get voted through to the Top 11? I would’ve sent him home. #AmericanIdol," declared a fan. "Noah Thompson just doesn’t have anything that makes him stand out. It was good.
