'Bring Kelsie Dolin back' demand 'American Idol' fans after Kenedi Anderson's exit from show

Several fans took to Twitter demanding Kelsie's return to the show as Kenedi's replacement on 'American Idol' Season 20

Season 20 of 'American Idol' is panning out to be almost as chaotic as its predecessor season. While Kenedi Anderson was positioned as the frontrunner to win the season, Kelsie Dolin emerged as a fan-favorite contestant. Sadly both the contestants' journeys on the ABC singing competition show were cut short, albeit for different reasons.

While the judges decided to eliminate Kelsie following her showstopper round performance, Kenedi decided to quit the competition citing 'personal reasons'. While fans were disappointed with Kenedi's decision to quit the show mid-season, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining, fans began finding a silver lining to her exit. 'American Idol' fans began demanding for their favorite contestant Kelsie to be brought back in place of Kenedi.

Several fans took to Twitter demanding Kelsie's return to the show as Kenedi's replacement. A fan tweeted, "Since Kenedi left can Kelsie come back??? #AmericanIdol." "Since Kenedi left, they should give Kelsie Dolan another chance #AmericanIdol," wrote a fan. "Replace kenedi with KELSIE !!!! COME ON JUDGED #AmericanIdol," commented a fan.

Another fan shared, "#AmericanIdol  Bring Kelsie Dolin back…. She deserves it and one dropped out… there is room on that stage :)." "Holy crap bring kelsey back #AmericanIdol," demanded a fan. "@AmericanIdol Sad that Kenedi dropped out…so bring back Kelsie! She should be there!!!!!," pointed out a fan.

Since her exit from the show, Kenedi has taken to her TikTok to share a snippet from her new song, which many fans interpreted as a snub to the ABC singing competition show owing to its cryptic lyrics. On the other hand, Kelsie has maintained a relatively low profile, though her fan base continues to grow stronger by the day. Fans felt Keslie and Kenedi's absence very strongly on the recently aired episode of 'American Idol' which featured the top 24 contestants vying for a spot on the top 14 list. 

'American Idol' Season 20 airs every Sunday and Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
