'AGT' 2022 FInale: Comedian Mike E Winfield gets standing ovation from judges, fans say 'he’s just not good'
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Despite being around for 17 seasons, 'America's Got Talent' is yet to crown a comedian as the 'AGT' champion. Each season, fans tune in eagerly hoping to see a comedian take home the grand prize of $1 Million and the opportunity to be a headlining act in Las Vegas! So. when comedian Mike E Winfield managed to bag a spot amongst the finalists, fans felt hopeful about a comedian finally getting the win.
But after watching Mike's set during the finale, fans were left feeling disappointed. The comedian revealed during his backstage interview that he was trying out a new set of jokes but appeared confident about his set. Mike was partially right, as the judges- Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara, were mightily impressed and even gave him a standing ovation towards the end of his performance. Howie hoped for Mike to be an opening act for one of his upcoming shows. Unfortunately, the fans didn't share the same feelings. Many fans took to Twitter to point out how the comedian's jokes failed to hit the mark.
