'AGT' Season 17 Semi-Finals: Comedian Don McMillan eliminated from top 2, fans say he was 'robbed'

'AGT' fans are having a hard time accepting comedian Don McMillan's elimination, demand him to be brought back as a wild card

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: With $100,000 prize money and an opportunity to be a headlining act in Las Vegas at stake, all the 54 'America's Got Talent' finalists are ready to fight tooth and nail for it. One such contender was comedian Don McMillan. 

Despite getting a hard no from Simon Cowell during the auditions, McMillan managed to advance to the Lives Show thanks to the other judges, especially celebrity comedian Howie Mandel. During the Lives Show, McMillan managed to wow everybody including Simon with his extremely witty and relatable jokes. By the end of his performance, fans were rooting for him to win the season. Unfortunately, when host Terry Crews announced the results, it was revealed that McMillan didn't get enough votes from the audience to secure a spot among the top 2 finalists. Drake Milligan and Avery Dixon were announced as the top 2 finalists. After learning that McMillan lost out to Drake and Avery, many fans took to Twitter to declare he was 'robbed' and demanded him to be brought back as a wild card contestant.

A fan tweeted, "@donmcmillan should have gotten into the finals! We need a comedian to finally win AGT! Tired of singers and magicians always winning." "Don was so robbed. He should have made it to the finals over Drake #AGT #AmericasGotTalent," wrote a fan. "Don McMillen deserves to be back as the wild card...please??.@SimonCowell #AGT," requested a fan. "Yeah Don McMillan may be a little older but damn HES BEEN GREAT. HES FUNNY AS HELL HES ORIGINAL AND HE WAS NO DOUBT THE BEST COMEDIAN THIS SEASON. BUT #AGT CUTS HIM? COME THE F ON. Another fan shared, "Please, please, please bring Don Millen back as a wild card. He's so funny and needs a break. Thanks Howie, glad you are better!! .@howiemandel #AGT." "@howiemandel needs to fight HARD to bring back Don Millen as a wild card!! I personally thought he was hilarious and should have been in the top 2 over Avery Dixon. I know the boy was bullied, but he does have an amazing talent! I just thought Don was THAT DAMN GOOD!! #AGT," seconded a fan. "@howiemandel #AGT make Don McMillian a wildcard he is great," pointed out a fan. "Don needs to be the wild card!!! #AGT," commented a fan.

America's Got Talent' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC, followed by the results which will air on Wednesday nights between 8 pm to 9 pm ET/PT.
