'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Fans call out Mohamed for joking about marrying 'sponsor' Yve

While Yve is hopeful about her future, fans think she needs to 'wake up'

For the couples on '90 Day Fiance' Season 9, it is the moment of truth -- will they go through with their respective weddings or not. A lot of the couples are still facing hiccups in their relationships, but now, with no time left, they have to make a definitive choice.

So far, fans have not been shy about expressing the fact that they think Mohamed has an ulterior motive when it comes to marrying Yve. The fact that he's been constantly pressing her for a green card has done little to help his case. However, it looks like he might have turned over a new leaf.

After a conversation with his mother, Mohamed proposed once again to Yve and since then, has been more forthcoming and open to her beliefs and practices. While Yve's friends continued to warn her relentlessly, right up until her wedding, the pair went through with it and tied the knot anyway. The wedding went smoothly for the most part, with Mohamed even joking that he married his original 'sponsor'. Some fans were hopeful for the pair. "Well if yve is willing to give Mohamed another chance then maybe we should too. #90dayfiance" said a fan. "I still cannot believe Yve and Mohammed got married. We'll see how this goes. #90DayFiance" added another. But not everyone was as hopeful. "Well It happened. Yve married Mohamad. WHY ? We have no clue. But she did. Now he is allowed to stay here with his regular sponsor. His words not mine. #90dayfiance" said a fan. "yve thinks mohamed is emotional for their wedding??? goodness he’s looking forward to his green card #90DayFiance" added a fan. "Mohammed is playing you Yve he doesn't want to be with you all he wants is his green card like wake up lady!! 😡 #90DayFiance" said another. "Yve keeps saying she gets to spend the rest her life with him. No you get to spend the rest of the time before his status changes. #90dayfiance" tweeted a fan.
