'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Fans praise Mohamed's mother for calling him "out in his foolishness"
Season 9 of '90 Day Fiance' is now packing on the pressure when it comes to the cast, as they all have to now face the music and tie the knot. This season, Yve and Mohamed seem to be the most mismatched couple. Age gap aside, their cultural and religious differences are far too many and have proved to be a constant roadblock.
With Mohamed concerned about getting married as soon as possible, the fact that he began looking for a different sponsor hurt Yve quite a bit, seeing that she wanted a nice wedding. Plus, he is also not a fan of her friends and also took issue with her religious beliefs.

To gain some insight into what to do, Mohamed spoke with his mother and grandmother. Mohamed has made it plenty clear he's close to his mother, so it quite refreshing to see her call out her son on her behaviour. She reminded him that he was in a new place and that meant that he needed to adjust his way of life and not try to change Yve for who she is. While fans joked about how Mohamed's mother wanted to ensure he got his green card, others pointed out that she was actually more tolerant and understanding than her son and were thankful she called him out. Either way, they agreed with what she had to say to Mohamed entirely.
"Whoa @ Moh’s mom. Moh knows why he hasn’t been telling his mother about his experiences in the US: she knows how rigid/selfish he is. #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "Mohammed’s mama telling her son to respect your fiancés culture is absolute perfection #90DayFiance" added another. "Mohamad, women tend to stick together when the common enemy is a man. Get use to it. They dont stick together on anything else but when its to take down a man, they can get along. #90dayfiance" said a fan. "Mohamed's Mom layin' down the law for that green card! You know you're being a lil' jackhole! Your happiness was given up for that green card scam you're pulling Mo. Know ya rols. Shut ya hole! #All4DaCard #90DayFiance" wrote another. "Holy shit, .Mohammad’s Mom is more tolerant than he is. OMG I love Mom & Grandma so much. Of course he says he’s not gonna listen to them #90DayFiance" said another. And it looks like her advice might have paid off, seeing that Mohamed later took Yve out for a nice dinner and even proposed to her. What do you think? Will Yve and Mohamed survive the season, with Mohamed willing to make a change? Or is it temporary? Sound off in the comments below.
