'90 Day Fiance' star Larissa Lima recalls her 'botched' plastic surgery: 'My belly button was removed'
Former '90 Day Fiance' star Larissa Santos Lima took to Instagram to talk about her botched plastic surgery, stating that she was 'tired of being silent in my sadness'. The reality star, who has had multiple surgeries, explained that she was inspired by Linda Evangelista to talk about her procedures that went wrong.
Evangelista put out a lengthy statement last year, where she spoke about her failed CoolScultping procedure, which left her "permanently deformed". The model also explained that despite having corrective surgery twice, both attempts fail to reverse the damage.

Lima took to Instagram to recount her own story, as she explained what went wrong when she went under the knife. She noted that she was "scared and embarrassed" to talk about the same sooner, but Evangelista gave her the "courage" she needed to open up. The first Instagram post read -- "Today, I would like to take the first step in slowly opening up about a plastic surgery procedure I received that is botched. Like so many other people in this situation, I've been scared and embarrassed to speak out. It's been over a year now since I've been botched. I did not want to speak of this before, but I'm tired of being silent in my sadness with no where to go to fix the problem. My inspiration to open up is @lindaevangelista . Now, I have the courage." The picture that accompanied this caption is one of Lima in the hospital, hooked up to an IV.
In a follow-up post, Lima shared photos of her botched belly button, while detailing what went wrong during her abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck. "First botched procedure: My belly button. When I got abdominoplasty, My belly button was removed and disposed without my consent. I did 3 very painful revisions to create a belly button. Unfortunately, it was never fixed." she explained. "My friend @nmbrowsandlashes tried many times improve the apparence through treatments, like fibroblast, it worked my a belly button isn't possible to be made." she added.

Fans were first introduced to Lima back on Season 6 of '90 Day Fiance', where she married Colt Johnson. She was also a part of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Season 5 following her divorce from Johnson. During this season, she was in a relationship with Eric Nichols and their storyline placed focus on Lima getting plastic surgery back then. However, she was released from her contract by TLC for performing in an online lingerie show.
