Netflix delivered a special surprise to longtime 'Xo, Kitty' fans ahead of its Season 3 premiere on April 2, 2026. The platform released the first two minutes of Episode 1 of the new installment via Tudum, and it gave viewers a glimpse into Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) and Kitty Song Covey's (Anna Cathcart) current dynamic. The sophomore season ended with Kitty asking Min Ho if she could join him on their family's upcoming pop-star world tour. Min Ho responded with a head nod, and fans have since been dying to know more, hoping the nod means that the duo can finally embark on their happily ever after. The newly released clip now seemingly provides some clarity.

The video picks up from the Season 2 finale. Min Ho's gesture is considered an invitation by Kitty, who excitedly begins to brace herself for her first romantic trip while strolling through campus with hopefully her soon-to-be boyfriend. "Okay, this is happening, I'm about to go on a world tour with Min Ho," Kitty expresses in a voiceover. However, things come crashing down when Min Ho's follow-up questions make it clear that he assumed she was asking to accompany him on a walk through campus. To save face, Kitty tries to poke fun at the situation, implying that the whole idea of spending the summer together was bizarre. "We would drive each other nuts," she claims. Min Ho, though, refuses to let go and asks her, "Then, what did you mean?"

Eunice Kang (Ryu Han-bi) enters at the right time as Kitty's savior, asking if she is coming to Busan. The singer adds that she is looking forward to kicking off the summer on a luxurious yacht. This gives Kitty the opening she needed. "I could kill some time with you in Busan before I fly home for the summer tomorrow," she says to a suspicious Min Ho. Things initially seem uncomfortable, but the two soon slip back into their familiar dynamic, as Min Ho begins teasing her about the dress code for the event, which is "yacht chic." As Kitty heads towards her dorm to change, it is evident that she is not giving up on her feelings. The clip ends with a hopeful declaration from Kitty, "Our ship could still set sail. On a yacht!"

The highly anticipated third season will focus on Kitty's senior year at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) as she continues to navigate through love, friendship, and identity. The season will not only explore the dynamic between her and Min Ho, but it will also welcome back a familiar face in the form of Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor).
