'XO, Kitty' Season 3 trailer hints at more drama with Min-ho but Lara Jean returns to save the day
The trailer of 'XO, Kitty' Season 3 released on March 9, and it saw Kitty Song Covey continue her search for love during her senior year at high school. The latest season of the romantic comedy-drama series is set to drop on Netflix on April 2, and fans can't wait to find out whether she ends up with Min-ho Moon (Sang Heon Lee) or chooses to focus on herself and stay single. Created by Jenny Han, 'XO, Kitty' is a spin-off of the film series 'To All the Boys,' which is adapted from Han's book trilogy, 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before.' Anna Cathcart stars as the American high school student, Kitty Song Covey, who moves to South Korea to study at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) on a full scholarship.
Spanning two minutes and 10 seconds, the trailer sees Kitty creating a 'Senior Sunset List' to make her senior year at KISS memorable. Unsurprisingly, at the top of the list is labeling her relationship with Min-ho. The series has kept fans on their toes with the duo's will-they-won't-they romance, and it seems we will finally find out if MoonCovey is endgame or if they are better off as friends. All through Season 3, Kitty and Min-ho seemingly try to confess their feelings for each other, but wrong timing and misunderstandings keep them apart.
Additionally, Lana Condor makes a cameo appearance as Kitty's older sister, Lara Jean Covey, to dish out some relationship advice as Kitty struggles to make a decision about Min-ho. Lara tells her sister to trust her feelings, as she says, "We have to follow our hearts and trust that it will lead us to our next great adventure." But, love problems aren't the only thing on Kitty's mind. She wants to create wonderful memories with her friends, reconnect with her Korean roots, and figure out which college to apply to, all before the end of senior year. As she prepares for college, Kitty wants the next chapter of her life to be filled with adventure, friendships, love, and family.
Anna Cathcart and Sang Heon Lee will lead the third season of the teen drama as Kitty and Min-ho, respectively, and will star alongside Choi Min-yeong as 'Dae' Kim, Anthony Keyvan as Q Shabazian, Hojo Shin as Jiwon Ahn, Philippe Lee as Young Moon, Gia Kim as Yuri Han, and Regan Aliyah as Juliana Porter. Recurring stars returning to the show include Joshua Hyunho Lee as 'Jin' Lee, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena Bhakti, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison Miller, Ryu Han-bi as Eunice Kang, and Sunny Oh as Mihee Yoon. Additional actors joining Season 3 are Sule Thelwell as Marius, Soy Kim as Yisoo, and Christine Hwang as Gigi.
