FRISCO, TEXAS: Grammy winner artist Beyonce will not perform at the 59th ACM Awards 2024. Viewers had been anticipating the pop singer's appearance at the event after speculation arose that she had received an invitation to perform.
However, fans were left disappointed with Beyonce's absence. Additionally, the pop singer failed to grab a nomination for her debut country album 'Cowboy Carter' amid a scheduling conflict. The eligibility period to submit works for 2024 ACMs was from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023.
Unfortunately, Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' didn't cut consideration as it was released in 2023. The album will now be eligible for the 2025 ceremony and is expected to be a strong contender. Beyoncé recently reflected on debuting a country genre album, She shared after the release of the album that it has been over five years in the making.
She added, "It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed... and it was very clear that I wasn't." Beyonce further noted, "But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive."

Beyonce has collaborated with Tiera Kennedy for her latest country album, 'Cowboy Carter'. However, Tiera recently shared her experience working with the Grammy winner at the 2024 ACM Awards red carpet.
Tiera said in a red carpet interview with AP, "I was super grateful because it came out really pivotal time in my career." She continued, "And to have that validation from Beyonce is really cool."
