After the performance, Luke Bryan complimented Abi's performance and said, "Way to embody that character." The ABC show judge called it one of her best performances. Lionel Richie believed her voice was 'customed tailored' for Disney songs.

'American Idol' Season 22 finalist Abi Carter revealed her lifelong love for Disney, tracing back to her childhood. The aspiring singer reminisced about a previous visit to Disney World, describing it as a truly magical experience. However, Abi took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from the Disney world as she documented her magical journey.

Abi also revealed during the episode that her little sister was named after the mermaid Ariel from the movie. She shared a photo of her standing next to an 'American Idol' poster and noted, "DAY 2 OF DISNEYWORLD!!! I used to see these posters of singing shows and pray that one day I would get the opportunity to do something as cool as that."
