POTOMAC, MARYLAND: Gordon and Mia Thornton delved into their tumultuous relationship on 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' Season 8, Episode 12.

Gordon suggested exploring a "mutually beneficial arrangement" instead of opting for a divorce. Mia wondered if this was what Michael and Ashley Darby were doing.

Perhaps this is why Ashley has yet to sign divorce papers. Ashley did not go into depth about any arrangements she made with Michael on 'RHOP' Season 8, Episode 13.

Instead, she mentioned that she has been hesitant about the divorce due to concerns about losing Michael's financial security. She went on to say, "Yes, I am scared of what it could look like if I’m not able to meet the mortgage."

Ashley shared that during her childhood, her mother was a single parent who suffered from housing insecurity. She recalled being evicted and being on the side of the street with all of their belongings.

Ashley is fearful of finding herself in a similar situation with her children, and that fear is leading her to delay the divorce. In response, Mia encouraged Ashley to overcome her fear and move forward with the divorce.

Ashley mentioned that divorce is on her radar, stating, "I will probably by the end of the year. My goal is by the end of the year," referring to 2023.

Ashley has failed to formalize her divorce, despite being separated from Michael for over two years. Her 'RHOP' co-stars have questioned if Ashley truly wants a divorce from the Aussie.

Ashley addressed the question about her marital status on the February 4 broadcast of 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'. She mentioned that she had recently reunited with her estranged husband and their two boys, Dean Michael and Dylan, just a few days prior.

She also mentioned that her relationship with Michael had improved recently. "We are no longer parallel parenting. We are officially co-parenting," she announced.

Andy also questioned if she "want[s] to finalize the divorce," and Ashley tentatively replied, "Yeah."

Ashley mentioned that she is "comfortable" not being divorced at the moment, but that doesn't mean she has stopped dating. When asked for an update on her personal life, Ashley responded, "You know, I'm having a lot of fun."

"Yes, I'm dipping and dabbling, swimming in the pond," she went on to say. "Just the man pond?" Andy inquired, to which Ashley replied, "No."

"I have some lady friends," she explained. "And I do like to kiss and tell, so. I love to kiss and tell. Let's talk about it. I must say, I forgot how tenderly women kiss compared to men. I've missed that."

Ashley is not the only 'RHOP' cast member going through a split. Mia, who joined the cast in Season 6, announced her breakup with Gordon in September 2023.

Despite Ashley having been separated for a longer period than Mia, the mother of two feels that Mia's divorce will be finalized before hers.

She argued that Gordon and Mia would divorce first, saying, "because Mia's going to be married by next year!" "She's on the fast track, Andy," she said.

Season 8 of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' continues on Bravo, Sunday nights at 8/7c
