THE BAHAMAS: In this week's episode of 'The Bachelor,' Davia Bunch was sent home after doubting her relationship with Zach Shallcross. To make matters worse, viewers are now blaming the Bachelor lead for sending the model home despite reassuring her with a kiss.

Davia was nervous as she approached the cocktail party and rose ceremony this week. She didn't get much alone time with Zach on the group date, so she was hoping for a low-key evening. He begins with Charity Sariah Lawson before moving on to Kat Izzo, who already has a rose. Davia is in tears as a result of this! "I saw him pull Kat for a chat," she cries to Kaity Biggar. "We made eye contact as he, like, grabbed her hand and, like, told her that he was excited to see her. It just felt defeating to see that."

What did Davia tell Zach?

Davia continued to "hold on to hope." When it came time for her to speak with the Bachelor, she tried not to complain — until Zach said how they "had such a fast, hot connection" from night one. "Well, the thing that scares me is the word 'had,'" she laments. "I just want you to know that I really want to grow this, and, like, I want to be here with you." Zach compliments her and kisses her.

However, when the time comes, at the Rose Ceremony, Zach sends Davia packing along with Genevie Mayo.

Fans ask 'why did he make out with her' after Zach sends Davia home

While slamming the bachelor for giving Davia hope, a fan wrote, "Zach literally had the opportunity to send Davia home during their conversation and save her the stress of a rose ceremony but instead he gave her hope and then didn’t give her a rose 5 seconds later. I officially hate him." Another added, "Ngl Zach did Davia dirty kissing her and then sending her home." Pointing out where the problem lies, a fan writes, "The downfall of Zach being so honest means that it is very clear when he isn’t into someone. It fosters insecurity and creates situations like the one with Davia." A fourth person asked, "Wtf! If he knew he was going to send Davia home why did he make out with her during the cocktail ceremony?"
