Who is Davia Bunch?

Davia Bunch, a 25-year-old marketing manager from Charleston, South Carolina, has many passions in life. From dancing to listening to Lizzo and even eating oysters, as reported by ABC, it's clear she has an appreciation for the little but joyful things in life. But when it comes to getting over heartache, it's Taylor Swift who she turns to for support. Davia attended the University of South Carolina and competed for the coveted title of Miss South Carolina in the prestigious pageant in 2018 alongside another ‘The Bachelor’ Season 27 hopeful, Cat Wong. While it is unsure if the two share a friendship or a rivalry, their dynamics might definitely make an interesting storyline on ‘The Bachelor’.

In 2013, Davia tragically lost her mother to leukemia. In her honor, she decided to make her pageant platform about raising awareness regarding bone marrow donation. As reported by the Charlotte Observer, Davia found a way to turn her tragedy into an opportunity to help others and make a difference. During the 2018 pageant that she won, Davia stated, “When I was 18, I decided to join the bone marrow registry not because I wanted to for a platform, but because it was in my heart to do that, and I wanted to have an opportunity to save someone’s life where my mother didn’t have that chance.”

As per her LinkedIn profile, she currently works as a marketing manager for The Design Group, a full-service web design and creative marketing agency in downtown Charleston, South Carolina.

Her Instagram account mostly has pictures of her fun times with friends, brand collaborations, and outings. She also posts plenty of photos of herself dressed up in stylish clothing or bikinis. The beauty queen is also a professionally trained ballet dancer, but quit dancing when she was 20.

Catch Davia on 'The Bachelor' Season 27, premiering on January 23 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
