LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Murder Mystery Company demonstrated its goal to be the first choice for all events during season 15 of 'Shark Tank'.

A game suitable for a variety of occasions, including Christmas parties, fundraisers, birthday parties, business gatherings, and more, exited the Tank with a deal with Guest Shark Jason Blum due to strong sales.

The Murder Mystery Company started as a performing group, conducting bookings, scriptwriting, rehearsals, and auditions in the living room of a modest apartment. Throughout the early 2000s, it served as a side project, with just one event scheduled every few months over three to four years.

Scott Cramton, the company's founder, embarked on a sales career at Art Van Furniture in 2006, where he remained for over three years. Balancing full-time employment, he secured McDonald's as the company's inaugural corporate mystery client.

After retiring, he refocused on The Murder Mystery Company, hiring salesmen and a script editor for the first time in 2009. After The Murder Mystery Company gained popularity, Scott and his staff relocated from his basement to a tiny facility with flooding issues in 2012.

In 2015, after three years, they moved into a newly constructed facility and expanded their presence with 26 troupes nationwide. Since 2009, The Murder Mystery Company has annually collaborated with students from the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) program to stage mystery productions, raising funds for the Anna Bonde Scholarship.

The Murder Mystery Company is the largest theater group in the country, according to its participation in 'Shark Tank'. What began as regular performances on local avenues has now expanded to over two dozen locations across the country, creating a new benchmark for those who provide similar experiences. Every year, they manage to stage around 7,500 successful plays in 60 sites, with the help of over 20 skilled troupes totaling over 2000 performers.

Even though not all Sharks were convinced that this could do big things, guest Shark, Jason was pretty impressed by the sales and decided to invest in The Murder Mystery Company. Scott reached an agreement with film and television producer Jason, who offered $350,000 for 10% of the firm.
