'Feel My Rhythm': Red Velvet tops iTunes in 29 regions, gets highest first-day sales
Red Velvet is breaking their records left and right and even before their album was released. ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm’ which is the girl group’s seventh K-pop mini-album became their best-selling album before it was released as it reached 516k pre-orders. This means that it could very well become their first half-million selling album. But before they reach that milestone, they have already made a record with the first-day sales.
Having released the album on March 21, Hanteo shared that ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm’ had crossed 231k sales on the first day itself. Hours later, it was reported that Red Velvet had reached 308k sales. This is the girl group’s highest first-day sales for any album. Previously, this record was held by their 2021 album ‘Queendom’ which had made 207k sales in the first week alone. Red Velvet’s scary growth is visible as their latest album has also reached a 2022 milestone.
