Did Beckett Rex drop out from 'American Idol' Season 21?

After much speculation, it has finally been revealed that Paige has advanced on 'America's Vote' and will perform on the second night at Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii. However, fans are still wondering who is the person replacing Paige. However, it is rumored that Beckett has been replaced by Paige. He dropped out of the competition even before the final cuts were made as viewers did not even get to see him in a single scene. Moreover, the aspiring singer also shared this news with his fans. During a live chat tweeted by a fan, one of his followers asked, "Did you drop out of 'American Idol'?" To which Beckett replied, "I did, I made the Top 26 too."

While the actual reason for his exit is not yet known, several social media users have their own speculations. A viewer tweeted, "Beckett Rex is the contestant who dropped out. Apparently, he was giving no screentime because production was not happy with the way he quit." Another person noted, "I wonder what the reason was…with companies, he could’ve easily quit in a reasonable way but producers not liking it for some reason. Or he could’ve been a jerk. But let’s not assume and we have more information first." "It's on Google. They edited him out of the season. They didn't even show him being told he's in the top 24. Definitely aren't a fan of him for some reason," added another follower. Another Twitter user wrote, "That's so weird 'cause they've had contestants drop out before but we still saw their auditions." Meanwhile, another viewer joked while sharing a meme that says, "I'm booked & busy, baby." Another 'American Idol' viewer noted, "Beckett Rex and looks like they cut all of his content from being aired."
