DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 couple Austin R and Becca Haley's relationship appeared to be jeopardized because of their different religious belief.

Becca was raised in a Jewish household but identified as agnostic, meanwhile, Austin is Christian. The couple has been feuding over religion since their honeymoon, however, they have reached the breaking point in the latest episode.

Austin and Becca connected with 'MAFS' therapist Pastor Calvin Roberson at the video call and discussed "other possibilities" about religion. Austin noted, "One thing that we kinda connected on was the similarities between Christianity, Judaism and Islam."

He added, "So I’m somewhat agnostic in the fact that there are so many similarities like they could all be the same thing."

Meanwhile, Becca was seemingly afraid of Austin's opinion. She noted, "Christians just typically think because you haven't accepted Jesus into your heart that you're going to hell. And I've heard that from close friends." She broke down in tears and stated, "Then it's hard because I don't think I'm going to hell."

However, the viewers suggested that religious differences between Austin and Becca are major hurdles that seemingly affect their marriage. An X user tweeted, "Austin is not into Becca and is using religion as an excuse."

One person added, "You know why I can't see Becca and Austin getting past this moment in their marriage? Because she's going to keep asking him all day every day and that's not something that you can just unlearn in a day."

Another viewer noted, "Probably Becca and Austin will make it off the show n stay together for a while but I’m not sure it will last very long because of the religious issues."

A social media user penned, "Becca his religion is his religion you don’t need more clarity than that 😭are you staying or going?

Another critic said, "Becca says 'I don’t care about his religion' BUT u want him 2 change his religious beliefs🤷🏼‍♀️🧐🤔 If YOU r agnostic then would it matter if HE believes in Hell b/c U don’t! YET u need him 2 say that he doesn’t believe U R going2hell4 y’all2stay married!? These people R exhausting 😤."

An internet user commented, "Matching Becca and Austin was a complete mistake by the 'experts' due to their conflicting religious beliefs!"

Are Austin R and Becca Haley compatible with each other?

Austin R and Becca Haley seemingly are not compatible as they hold opposite personalities and beliefs. However, in the latest episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, Becca and Austin reflected on the differences.

Becca noted that things would be different if Austin was "paired with a Christian woman." However, expert Pastor Cal insisted that they are compatible.

He explained that Austin and Becca were chosen as a match because "we felt that you would be compatible." He told the couple that the "only reason" they showed "this kind of emotion" is because of the "deep passion" they feel for one another.

Becca Haley tearfully admits she wants to continue marriage

Despite the major differences between the couple, Becca Haley wanted to continue her marriage with her husband Austin R.

In the most recent episode, Pastor Cal observed that if the couple didn't have feelings for each other, this conversation wouldn’t be taking place.

Becca tearfully replied, "I'm feeling this way because I want us to work so badly."

'MAFS' expert added, "And that’s what’s going to make you work, that is the thing that you need to hold on to."

Austin and Becca had another marriage woe to deal with. Becca desired to have sex like yesterday but Austin hesitated and desired to take things slower.
