The 27-year-old snake wrangler from Alabama was a fan-favorite to win the fourth season of 'The Traitors.' Rob was the only OG traitor left in the competition after fellow traitors and former 'Real Housewives' Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard Bassett were banished in episodes 7 and 8, respectively. He then recruited Eric, a K-pop singer, to become his fellow traitor in the next episode so that he could shield himself from suspicion. While Rob took home a cash prize of $220,800 after winning the series, he was also overcome with regret for betraying Maura, his trusted ally during this season. He told the host, "I have a weird mix of emotions right now. I've won, but I've also betrayed the person I was closest to in the game."
Before the finale, there were six contestants: Traitors, Eric Nam and Rob, and the Faithfuls, Johnny Weir, Mark Ballas, Tara Lipinski, and Maura. But Mark was tossed out by Rob and Eric, making him the last Faithful to be murdered by the Traitors. Out of the remaining five players at the last round table, Eric, Rob, and Maura voted to banish Johnny, while Tara and Johnny voted to banish Eric. At the Fire of Truth ceremony, Rob and Maura made a secret pact to banish Tara and then Eric, who warned Maura that Rob was a Traitor. However, Maura remained unconvinced, as she said in the confessional, "There's something not right here. Eric has to be the Traitor. It can't be Rob, right?" Maura was left devastated in the end and called Rob a "snake" for deceiving her throughout the game.
During the reunion episode, Rob told host Andy Cohen that he plans to make amends with Maura with a pricey gift, "I have to buy Maura a Birkin Bag," he said. On the other hand, Eric, who was blindsided by Rob's betrayal, shared at the reunion that it took him a few days to recover, before adding that he will "never trust anybody ever again."
