LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez starrer 'The Mother', filmed by Niki Caro, is an upcoming action thriller. It will be available on Netflix on May 12, 2023. Misha Green, Andrea Berloff, and Peter Craig wrote the screenplay. The movie was filmed in several locations, including Vancouver, Canada, and Gran Canaria in Spain's Canary Islands.
‘The Mother’ follows an assassin who while fleeing from threatening attackers, emerges from concealment to defend her daughter, whom she had abandoned earlier in life, according to the storyline. Lopez's Nuyorican Productions will manage filmmaking, and the film is expected to debut under a newly launched creative agreement with Netflix.
