'The Masked Singer' Spoilers: Who is Seashell? Sarah Jessica Parker to Hilary Duff, here are the guesses so far
'The Masked Singer' Season 5 premiere has been touted as a game-changing season and judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger were seen reiterating the same at multiple points during the hour-long show. However, from the looks of it, it really did seem like the competition has heated up and the level of the competition has gone much higher but so has the overall appearance and feel of it.
Everything looks grander; the judges, the stage, even the masks this season are never seen before on the show. One among them was the Seashell. Who is Seashell on 'The Masked Singer'?
From what we know about all the performers on Season 5, they have a combined 26 Grammy nominations, nine multi-platinum singles, four Oscar nominations, three Super Bowl appearances, six gold medals and two world records among them. The beautiful Seashell mask decked up in her sparkly attire is a sight to behold. All that detailing on her dress is stunning and it is one of the most beautiful masks this season.
As for the clues related to Seashell's identity, the Cluedle Doo revealed that the masked celeb has played twins before in one of her acting projects. "I was always adrift, I never felt grounded so I found my peace by the shore," Seashell was heard saying in a voice-over while a chameleon was seen on screen which is considered as the most telling visual clue, at least by one of the judges — more about that in a bit.
The Seashell also said that she "always wanted to sing on stage and used to way back in the day." Another visual clue also included a cowboy hat and she also mentioned that when she started her journey in showbiz, it was almost like a "tsunami of success".
Who do the judges think the Seashell is?
There were multiple names that came up during the discussion among the judges. Celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Anne Hathaway came up. Nicole Scherzinger said that she felt it was Hilary Duff because Hilary was from Texas which explains the cowboy hat clue and she also mentioned that the chameleon is also a lizard and Hilary was known to a lot of young adults in the early 2000s as Lizzie McGuire.
