LAURENS, SOUTH CAROLINA: 'American Idol' Season 21 is getting more intense with each episode. Some of the immensely talented singers, including Colt Glover and Reette Thorns, have already got a golden ticket to Hollywood. However, there's still a number of contestants waiting to get on stage to showcase their singing skills.

Among them is Ophrah Kablan, who is all set to make her singing debut in front of 'American Idol' Season 21 judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Ophrah has already achieved many milestones in her life, but this is the first time she will be singing to become a global sensation.

Who is Ophrah Kablan?

Ophrah was born on June 22, 2003, and hails from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She currently resides in Laurens, South Carolina. She graduated from Laurens District 55 High School in 2020. She has been singing since she was a young girl and has won many awards for her singing skills. In 2013, she bagged the Upstate Black Expo's Gospel Best when she was 10. According to the reports, her mother said at the time that she prayed for a baby after being told she could not conceive. When Ophrah was born, she knew her daughter was blessed with the gift of singing. Notably, she appeared in an ad aired during the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020 for the NAACP's Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympic to celebrate the next generation of the organization's leaders. The singer currently works as a nail artiste and flaunts her stunning work on social media.

Ophrah will be seen performing on the upcoming episode of 'American Idol' Season 21. She has shared several photos from her audition day on social media. ABC also shared a photo of Ophrah during her chat with the judges. She also shared a short clip of her holding a sign, which read, "You're invited." She captioned the post, "Big exciting news yall..i auditioned for American Idol! The show starts streaming Feb 19th on @hulu so y’all tune in..Y’all think i brought home that golden ticket or not? So honored and blessed to be doing something i love yk i put on for Laurens county..REAL BAD @americanidol."

'American Idol' Season 21 airs every Sunday at 8pm ET on ABC. It will be available on Hulu the next day.
