Who is Hannah Nicolaisen? 'American Idol' Season 21 contestant quit her job to pursue music dreams
HOUSTON, TEXAS: With each new episode of ABC's 'American Idol' Season 21, the competition is getting heated. Season 21 of the show featured the same trio of judges - Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie and they are on a mission to find the next musical sensation.
Week 3 auditions had a line-up of brilliant artists and many left their mark on the judges as well as the viewers. One rememberable contestant is We-Ani, a young artist whose contrasting voice shocked everyone. Week 4 auditions of Season 21 will see more skilled singers take the stage and try to win a golden ticket to Hollywood. One such participant is Hannah Nicolaisen who quit her 9-5 job with an IT recruiter to follow her heart. The young singer performs live music and has yet to release any singles. Who is Hannah Nicolaisen?
Hannah from Huston, Texas graduated from Cypress Woods High School. After graduating from high school, she attended Cowley College in Kansas to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Her non-musical interests include coaching volleyball and getting a master's in psychology. Hannah has a brother, Heath, with who she shares a close bond as she often posts about him on her Instagram. She left her regular 9-5 job with an IT recruiter recently to devote full-time to her musical aspirations.
In a recent one-minute life update on TikTok, she describes herself as a musician who quit her job with “no guarantee of any success.” She also added, “I feel like I’m trying to trust my gut a lot. That’s been the theme of the last several months … There’s been some really cool doors and opportunities that have opened up." Hannah has credited her mother for inspiring her to pursue music and following her heart. The young artist has yet to release any songs but has some original works on youtube and TikTok, one of them being 'Chariot'. She also recently got engaged, as she was seen flaunting a ring in an Instagram post from December 2022.
