'American Song Contest' will allow all the budding and famous singers to prove their talent and win the grand prize along with the titled Best Hit Song.
Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg host the show. The eight-week show will feature 56 contestants from almost 50 countries. The eight-week competition will include 56 contestants competing against each other to win the battle. The artists will participate in a series of qualifying rounds, semifinals, and a grand final one state or territory will emerge as the winner. King Kyote will be representing Maine on the show. Who is King Kyote?
Jon King whose stage name is King Kyote will be performing on the stage of 'American Song Contest' representing Maine. A few months ago, the Portland-based singer, songwriter was contacted by the show asking if he would like to be part of the show. Although King Kyote has plenty going for him, namely songwriting acumen and one heck of a singing voice. King last year released his song titled 'Gold Fades' featuring his warm and raspy vocals. Kyote is also a recording artist who has toured extensively in the Northeast as well as around the country.
King has played at many iconic venues throughout Maine and local festivals, as well as shows with many local popular acts such as Ghosts of Paul Revere, Rustic Overtones, and The Mallet Brothers Band.
