Kelly Clarkson's divorce from Brandon Blackstock has been settled. The 39-year-old American singer will pay her ex-husband, a massive one-time payment of just over $1.3 million, as well as a monthly child support payment of $45,601 for their two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander.

Back in June 2020, Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from husband Brandon Blackstock after seven years of marriage. In July last year, Clarkson requested the court to declare her as legally divorced. The singer reasoned that she and Blackstock both deserve the opportunity to build a new life, rather than being stuck in relationships where neither of them was happy. The couple was quite low-key about their divorce. In, August last year, the Voice judge was declared legally single, but the divorce process was ongoing, but now it's finally settled.

The former couple also agreed that both kids, River Rose and Remington Alexander, will be vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus, as they will be traveling out of state to see their father at the former couple's Montana ranch, where he'll be living for the time being. The couple also agreed on having joint custody of their kids, although the children will live at Clarkson's Los Angeles residence.
