Who is James Pendergrass?

James is a basketball player and influencer from Hawaii who uses his platform to encourage health whenever feasible. As a contestant on 'THTH', which takes around a month to shoot, James will be required to step outside his comfort zone and pay attention to his emotions. Some participants might accept the restrictions but will James be able to change his demeanor?

According to his Netflix bio, James has been able to capitalize on his excellent looks, charisma, and easygoing nature back home in Hawaii as a fun-loving basketball player. His Instagram shows that he enjoys his social life almost as much as he enjoys working out, which is saying a lot given that the majority of his postings are about fitness. Though he is regimented on and off the court when it comes to his game and his body, James, who appears on 'Too Hot To Handle' alongside Sebastian Melrose, seems to be casual and non-committal with his love life, similar to 'THTH' Season 1 star, Harry Jowsey.

The Netflix star posts a lot of influencer content on his Instagram. There are various beautiful photoshoots in addition to branded content, but the captions James provides with his content are more cheerful, which matches the content on his TikTok account. On the video-sharing app, James posts occasional gym instructions. He mostly resorts to comedic videos that showcase his personality. He appears to be quite down-to-earth, which might lead to a successful run on 'Too Hot To Handle' Season 4, since he may not take himself too seriously.

Given his history in basketball and fitness, James appears to be skilled at following rules, however, it will be fascinating to watch how he reacts to Lana's severe standards. With the 'Too Hot To Handle' Season 4 cast now exposed to fans, some are wondering who will couple up once they get to the beach. While it's uncertain if James will find the rules tough to obey, contestants who do find them difficult early in the season are often the ones who benefit the most from the 'Too Hot To Handle' retreat. Fans are eager to see what the new season offers and what happens to James as a result of his ordeal.

Catch James on 'Too Hot To Handle' Season 4 on December 7 only on Netflix.
