LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 21 wrapped up with its third-week golden ticket winners. Contestants from all over the towns of America got a chance to show their majestic singing talents. While some contestants have to return to their usual work with tears in their eyes, a few truly impressed 'American Idol' judges and viewers.
Marybeth Byrd brings her majestic voice from a small town Armorel, Arkansas. Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie were truly impressed by Marybeth's soulful voice. Additionally, she surely made her small town, with a population of just 300, proud.

Marybeth performed The SteelDrivers song 'If It Hadn’t Been For Love' with a unique pop twist. 'The Voice' 2019 finalist received heaps of praise from the judges with Katy instantly declaring, "For sure Top 10. I hope that prophecy comes true." The judges also gave her a standing ovation for her mind-blowing performance. Lionel praised Marybeth saying, "You opened your mouth and it was correct and we were looking at each other and like what is going on."
Meanwhile, Luke added, "Well people just have it and I’m talking about the first note. It’s authentic and I see a very bright future." However, Marybeth also revealed that Katy inspired her so much. She gushed, "How much you inspire me to be myself because it’s hard sometimes to be yourself when the pressure from the world is on you and I just came in there knowing that because of you and your auras."
Will Marybeth Byrd reach the top 10 in 'American Idol' 2023?
