LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Angelina Jett is 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Athena Jett's younger sister from Las Vegas, Nevada. She is 12 years old. Angelina accompanied her sister during her audition and saved her from elimination. She has been the biggest fan of her sister.
Athena revealed to the cameras that her sister, Angelina, doesn't like to be away from her very long, adding, "She's such a bright ball of energy." She further claimed, "She believes in me so much." She reflected, "Being a big sister is super super important to me."
Athena performed Sophia James's song 'Somebody New'. However, she failed to impress the ABC show judges, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie.
Angelina then chimed in and said, "I'm so sorry. I don't want to barge in or anything." She then asked the judges if her sister could sing the Greatest Showman Ensemble's song 'Never Enough'.
Katy, Luke, and Lionel loved Athena's second performance and awarded her a Golden Ticket to Hollywood. Meanwhile, the viewers praised Angelina for saving her sister Athena from elimination.

Athena Jett dedicated her second performance to her sister, Angelina, and claimed she couldn't do it without her younger sister. Katy Perry broke down in tears after watching the sisters bond and tearfully said, "This is why we do this show."
Katy also complimented Athena's performance and noted, "Athena you were a hard no but whatever just happened showed me something that I think even surprised yourself..." She added, "What the hell was that... That was phenomenal. You have to use that... That is your sword."

The ABC show judge then complimented the gift and noted, "This is awesome. This took a lot of work." Luke Bryan was also impressed with 12-year-old Angelina's hard work and said, "I got to take my kid's cellphone away right now."
