Is Luke Bryan OK? 'American Idol' fans left concerned as ABC singing show judge takes his 1st IV on set
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During Aniston Pate's audition round, Luke Bryan took some time to receive an IV. As Katy Perry recorded Luke, he said, "Katy is making me take my first-ever IV with vitamins."
While filming Luke, 'American Idol' judge Katy further asked her fellow judge, "Why do we have to go this far, Luke?" As Luke began to reply, Katy interrupted and said, "Because you won't orally take vitamins." Luke was then injected, and he let out a loud cry.
While listening to Aniston's song, Luke continued to take his IV drip. Seeing the judges interrupt the audition made a fan claim, "She was really good!! The IV stuff is just stupid!!!" Another angry fan claimed, "Why the f do we need to watch someone take IV? This is why the show is so scripted." One curious fan asked, "Why does he have an IV?"
A fan slammed the producers, "The tape is usually the worst part when getting an IV." One asked, "What’s with the IV drip?"
Another asked, "Do you like to drink caffeinated beverages while working?" One slammed the judge, "I'll take my supplements and vitamins in pill form, thanks."

She then pointed out some flaws, saying, "But I do think you were throwing away some of the opportunity for holding out notes. You can deliver lyrics in a very intimate way while still demanding power."
