Who is Allie Keck?

Allie hails from Nashville and has already released a wide range of music. Allie originally belongs to Neoga. However, the singer-songwriter grew up in a household where her mother listened to Michael Jackson and Prince and her father was a fan of Jackson Brown and The Eagles. Listening to the songs since childhood fascinated Allie to write songs and perform around her community at age 16. Allie revealed in the previous interview that she wanted to move to Nashville as a teen, but her parents wanted her to go to college. Allie graduated from Illinois State University and moved to Nashville a month later.

Before moving to Nashville in 2016, Allie performed at bars, wineries, and weddings, and open mic nights around her small town. The singer-songwriter left her real estate career to pursue music. Allie made her debut with a five-song pop EP called 'Kiss and Tell' in 2017. Allie's title song was one of her most popular on Spotify. Since then, the singer-songwriter has released several singles, including an impressive cover of Heart's 'Barracuda,' and a few country songs. She also released two originals, 'More Than One' and 'Not Your Problem' in 2022. Allie describes her passion as "Music has been a constant in my life. Writing songs that resonate with the audience is a feeling I can’t describe. Whether I’ve made you laugh, cry or smile I’ve done my job." Allie Keck has seen several ups and downs throughout her career but she chooses to shine and auditioned for 'The Voice' Season 23.

Blake Shelton tries to convince Allie Keck

Allie performed 'Paris OH LaLa' which immediately got Blake's chair turned. Her deep, grungy tone for the rock song left all four judges jamming out in their chairs. However, Alli high pitch made one more chair turn. Meanwhile, Niall and Chance didn't turn the chair but they were really impressed with her skills. Kelly and Blake compete for Allie to join their respective teams. Blake tried to convince Allie saying that Season 23 is his last season and he would happy to have her on the team. Meanwhile, Kelly says Allie has a killer voice and welcomes her to 'The Voice'. Blake further said that he wants to blow it out one more time on this show and hopes she joins his team. Niall told Allie whoever she picks will do a good job with her. Meanwhile, Chance says her voice literally sounded like an electric guitar. After Blake and Kelly tried their best to take her into their teams, Allie joins team Kelly.

Why did Allie Keck choose team Kelly Clarkson?

Kelly defends herself as a fellow female singer while convincing Allie. Kelly calls her a powerhouse with a Janis Joplin vibe, and the only rock and roll artist on the show so far and loves that it's a female. Kelly showing women power might have brought Allie to the team. However, 'The Voice' coaches are not the only ones who left impressed with her performance. Social media users were also stunned by Allie's vocals. They praised Allie underneath her audition video shared on NBC's Instagram.

A user commented, "She’s amazing!! Gave me goosebumps." Another user added, "Hit the lights and that high note and had my heart racing like a thoroughbred. Excellent attack! Lot of sweet honey in her vocal and she knows how to rough it up too." Another user wrote, "SO Love her voice, WOW!!!! Ill bet she can slay Barracuda!!!" Another user gushed, "A FREAKIN STAR. Her voice is UNMATCHED." Meanwhile, another social media user said, "She sounds so much like Kelly." Another Internet user penned, "She's amazing!! I got goosebumps. Love her voice."
