‘Let’s Marry Harry’ star Harry Jowsey reveals contestant asked him to ‘cut her out’ from Netflix show
Since Netflix concluded ‘Let’s Marry Harry’ with its recent finale, fans have been waiting for the upcoming reunion. It will reveal whether Harry is still together with Amber and their latest life update. Along with the two, the reunion will also feature the remaining contestants and will be hosted by Haley Baylee. Notably, in his recent appearance on ‘The Julia Cunningham Show,’ Harry reflected on post-filming incidents. The host, Julia, asked Harry about one of the female contestants, Lauren. “You know, in the very first episode, there was a woman named Lauren. And the moment I saw her, I was like, I know her. What is she from? She was from ‘The Bachelor.’ She was on Joey season.” The host was referring to Joe Graziadei’s ‘The Bachelor’ Season 28. She continued, “But then you were like, Night One, you were like, get…send her home.”
Harry reflected on how things turned out with Lauren, as she was the first contestant who got eliminated from ‘Let’s Marry Harry.’ “Well, basically, what happened, we discovered in that conversation that we knew each other. Like, we were at the same events. She knew that she was coming on the show. I…wasn’t allowed to talk to me, and I was like, ‘I didn’t know what was going on.’” He further added, “But it was very…The funny thing about her is she DM’d me after the show, and she’s like, ‘Just tell them to cut me out of the show.’ I’m like, you’re the first to go.” Listening to what Lauren told Harry, the host and Harry both burst into laughter.
Julia reacted, “Also, what? Again, what a great demand. Being like, ‘Get me cut out of the show.’ No.’” Harry responded that she had already signed up to be on the show, and such could not be done. “Like, what are you talking about?” he added. Further in their conversation, Harry also shared how a few of the female contestants have asked him about appearing on his podcast.
While on the topic of podcasts, Harry also revealed that he had considered doing a reunion. Julia asked him, “Would you think about doing your own version of a reunion on your podcast? Harry answered that he had thought about it and that there would be something announced later. At that time, the reunion news had not yet been announced. He added, “Well, that was the thing. I had a few friends. I was like, maybe they host it, and it’s on our platform, and I’m not there, and they speak freely and speak however they want. Won’t edit it. Let them say exactly what they need.” ‘Let’s Marry Harry’ reunion will air on August 26 on Netflix.
