The ongoing Season 14 of 'The Masked Singer' might just be one of the most competitive instalments of the FOX show. Not only were the contestants on the present season able to carry a moderate tune, but most of them were also exceptional performers and managed to impress the audience.

As the musical-mystery-based reality television show nears its finale, the remaining contestants prepare for a dramatic showdown that will culminate in just one lucky winner lifting the golden mask trophy. 'The Masked Singer' Season 14 once again brought back Nick Cannon as the show's familiar host, alongside Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Ken Jeong at the judges' panel. However, with Season 14 nearing its completion, we'll have a look at what's left.

As per a recent FOX press release, the finale episode of 'The Masked Singer' Season 14 will drop on Wednesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. The episode will be a grand event, running up to two hours, and will feature the four finalists battling it out to take home the Golden Mask Trophy.

Once the winner is announced, there will be four unmaskings. In this connection, one must also remember that there are three remaining episodes in the present season. The upcoming episode on Wednesday will feature 'Star Trek' night, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the popular science fiction franchise.

In the aftermath of 'Star Trek' night, the show will move on to its semi-final episode, slated to air on March 25. During the semifinals, one of the five contestants will be eliminated, leaving the four to face each other in the upcoming finale. Season 14 of 'The Masked Singer' kicked off with 18 contestants, of whom only seven remain in the competition.

FOX recently dropped an exclusive preview of the upcoming episode, which will feature double eliminations and see Cat Witch perform 'Starships' by Nicki Minaj. The panelists, as well as the Men In Black and even the members of the audience, can be expected to don costumes resembling 'Star Trek' characters.

The previously unmasked contestants include David Ortiz (Googly Eyes), Tiffany Haddish (Le Who Who), Todd and Julie Chrisley (Croissants), Taraji P. Henson (Scarab), Claudia Oshry (Queen Corgi), Teddi Mellencamp (Calla Lily),  Tone Lōc (Handyman), Billy Ray Cyrus (Owl), Heidi Montag (Snow Cone), Alexi Lalas (High Voltage) and Jack Wagner (Eggplant).

In an interesting twist this season, Cat Witch's identity was revealed before her unmasking, and she turned out to be Kylie Cantrall. Cantrall has been providing the audience with insider information throughout the ongoing season since she's the one chosen to be America's Insider.
