ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Mama June Shannon married boyfriend Justin Stroud in March 2022, and subsequently the couple hosted an official wedding ceremony surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren in Florida on February 18, 2023.
The reality TV star is an auto mechanic and tattoo artist from Alabama and is currently 36 years old. Mama June is 44 years old and has an age gap of 8 years with Justin.
Born on September 9, 1988, Justin Stroud owns a small business selling t-shirts, wax candles, and more to maintain his lifestyle. In addition to this, he also earns a decent amount by making appearances on reality TV shows alongside his wife June Shannon.
As per court documents obtained by The Sun, it was revealed that Justin had an outstanding warrant on him in Alabama. In November 2019, he was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as burglary in the the third degree and theft of property.
He later pleaded guilty to the latter two charges.
Apart from his account on Instagram with 20k followers, Justin Stroud also has an account on Cameo where he earns from personalized videos for the fans in exchange for a nominal fee. Moreover, Justin also has a TikTok account.
Does Justin Stroud have a good relationship with Mama June's daughters?
Justin Stroud made significant steps in maintaining his relationship with Mama June's daughters.
"I was in a toxic relationship and struggled with drug addiction. Despite becoming clean, I left the relationship. Fast forward six months, almost eight months later, and I was in this new relationship, which was unexpected for them," Shannon told People.
Shannon stated that after spending time with Justin, her daughters had grown to 'love and appreciate him' and that the feeling was mutual. "They all get along now; he's been on a few family adventures with us, and we spend time together as a family."
She continued, "They don't have a problem with him." Initially, they held reservations about him, given their experience with toxic men in their mother's life. During Anna Cardwell's health journey, Lauryn Cardwell also told People that Justin Stroud was the 'biggest rock' of their family.
Justin also helped the family when Anna was in hospice care, offering assistance by providing medicine, running errands, and being there for her and everybody else.
Mama June feels grateful to have met Justin Stroud after failed past marriages
Mama June spoke about Justin for the first time on her show, saying, "I'm grateful for the person that I found — Justin. I have a wonderful man right here.
Justin is a lot different than Geno, Sugarbear, or any other man who has been in my life," she said. "Honestly, he's showing me how somebody can be treated well," she added.
In 2014, allegations surfaced suggesting Mama June was spotted speaking with Mark McDaniel, promoting the 'immediate' cancellation of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo'. Mark McDaniel was previously convicted of assaulting a child in 2004.
In 2019, Geno Doak and Mama June were arrested for the possession of drugs, and also due to certain domestic violence charges. They later broke off due to Geno's addiction.
Mama June emphasized that Justin is much more different than the past men in her life, noting his caring nature towards her and her daughters.

In the trailer, following Alana Thompson's discovery that her mother had stolen her funds, she approached Justin Stroud and confronted him while asking, "Do you honestly know if my mamma had stolen money from me?"
The camera then pans to Justin Stroud riding a car with Mama June Shannon as he confronts her saying, "You are a f*****g liar."
Justin boldly confronted Mama June about her stealing Alana's college funds. It seems like there's some trouble in the paradise for the couple as Mama June asks, "Do you feel like this marriage is over for you?", as Justin lowers his head down in despair.
