Kanthony shippers are in for a special treat as 'Bridgerton' returns to Netflix with Season 4 Part 2 on February 26. Viewers are not only eager to see Benedict and Sophie back on their screens, but also the beloved Anthony and Kate Bridgerton from Season 2. The duo's classic enemies-to-lovers romance stood out for its sizzling on-screen chemistry. They were last seen in Season 3, where they announced their pregnancy in Episode 5 and their decision to move to India for a few months in Episode 7.

Fans might also recall that they decided to travel to India so that Kate could give birth to their first child surrounded by her family. Well, after being absent from Part 1 of Season 4, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley are set to make their highly anticipated return in Part 2. To mark the show's return, Netflix shared an exciting first-look video of the couple.

The short clip shows Anthony and Kate in bed playing with their newborn son, Edmund (named after Anthony's father), and basking in the glow of becoming a family of three. During a sweet exchange between the couple, Kate tells her husband, "The journey back from India was arduous enough." It is also revealed that she and the baby will not be leaving their room at Aubrey Hall for quite some time.

Anthony agrees that both his wife and son should rest, but he has to go visit Bridgerton House because 'mother summons.' Kate tells her husband that the duo will join him soon, and then they both confess they'll miss each other during their brief time apart. The video is a pleasant surprise for the show's die-hard fans, who have followed the couple's journey from enemies to lovers and now from spouses to parents.         An image of Anthony Bridgerton and Lady Violet from 'Bridgerton' episode 406 Cover Image Source: Netflix | Photo by Liam Daniel)

Fans hoping to see more of Anthony and Kate in Part 2 won't be disappointed, as Bailey is added as a series regular and Ashley as an additional key cast member in Netflix’s cast list for Season 4. Additionally, Jess Brownell, the showrunner and executive producer, shared what Kanthony will be up to in Part 2.

She told Glamour that Anthony plays a crucial role in helping Benedict make the right decision about his love life in the second half, saying, "That brotherly relationship is so primary." She also gave a glimpse into Kate's story arc by adding, "I think that the Kate-Eloise (Claudia Jessie) dynamic is one that continues to be really interesting. So those are ways in which we’ll explore it."

Furthermore, Bailey and Ashley’s return is special for another reason, as it's the first time that a central Bridgerton couple has returned to the show more than one season after they appeared as leads. Notably, Phoebe Dynevor's Daphne returned in Season 2, but not since then. Her romantic counterpart, Simon Basset, played by Regé-Jean Page, has not returned to the series since playing the lead in Season 1. Fans will indeed enjoy watching Kanthony on screen again when Season 4 Part 2 airs on Thursday.
