'RHOA' Season 17 Episode 4 Recap: Porsha receives lavish bouquet from Mike and Dennis has a few questions
‘RHOA’ fans surely remember Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley, who share a daughter, Pilar Jhena. Since they split in 2020, the two have been co-parenting. The recently released ‘RHOA’ Season 17 Episode 4 featured Porsha and Dennis getting into a heated argument. It all started after Dennis arrived at her home for a meeting with a set designer to work on their “in-home podcast studio” for the family. Speaking about the same, Porsha said, “Dennis and I aren’t just co-parenting PJ. We’re now co-parenting a podcast for PJ together. I’m also rebooting my podcast with my sister, Porsha4Real.” However, things took a turn when Porsha declared she was making an "executive decision" not to work with her ex after he questioned her about her personal life.
The episode began with Porsha mistakenly referring to Dennis as “Babe” while speaking about their daughter’s “whole vision” for the podcast and the YouTube channel. However, she quickly corrected herself and noted, “The slip-up is muscle memory and, slightly, what’s in the cup. It won’t happen again.” Later, Dennis saw a huge bouquet of roses in Porsha’s home. Mike gave her the flowers when he visited her earlier. After Porsha realized that Dennis had seen the flowers, she confessed to the cameras, “When you are co-parenting, you don’t need extra triggers, because if Dennis is sensitive about anything, it’s Chanel and flowers, okay? So, for him to see flowers, I knew he was about to go up.” Porsha then hid the card that came with the flowers, which read “I Want You.”
Seeing this, Dennis got more suspicious of the flowers. He asked her what the card said, and she responded, “What card?” Later, when he found the card, Porsha’s sister, Lauren Williams, took it from him. Porsha then learned that Dennis had seen the card, which he mentioned Lauren “violently” took away from him and threw into the pool. Dennis then inquired about Porsha’s relationship with her “friend-friend” Mike Bless. Wondering why Dennis was asking her about this, she reminded her ex that her relationship with him was “not personal” but “strictly business.” “We aren’t together,” she said. She confessed to the cameras, “Can y’all afford to clear ‘Blurred Lines’? Slide that in there.” Soon, the two got into an argument as Porsha told Dennis, “I’m gonna make an executive decision. We’re not doing the YouTube together. Because I’m not gonna be doing business with you, and you’re bringing up my personal life.”
During their conversation, Dennis mentioned he lived in the same building as Mike, but the 'RHOA' star clarified, "Number one, I did not spend the night over there at Mike's house, OK? Number two, I don't even know if they lived in the building at the same time, and if they did, that is not when I was talking to Mike. And three, Dennis doesn't even live over there anymore. He lives in his home with his girlfriend." Dennis then said that his ex does not make "good decisions" about who she dates as the duo continued arguing.
