When will ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3 release?

Since the first season premiered in August 2021 and the second season in June 2022, the third season is expected to premiere on Hulu in mid-summer 2023. As of now, no specific date has been announced.

How to watch ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3?

The show will be available for viewers in the United States on Hulu. Hulu can be subscribed to as a standalone streaming service, as part of the Disney bundle, or even as a live TV channel by signing in to Hulu with Live TV. The streaming platform is available on Apple iOS, Apple TV, Android, Chromecast, Echo Show, Fire tablets, Fire TV & Fire Stick, Roku, LG TV and Samsung TV, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3 & 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

What is the plot of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3?

The show usually revolves around a murder that occurs in the Arconia building where the three protagonists live and work together to solve the murder mystery and reveal all of it on their podcast, but for season three the show is going Broadway. Towards the end of the season, the audience saw a one-year time jump and Oliver Putnam directing a Broadway show starring Charles-Haden Savage and a new character named Ben (Paul Rudd).

As Ben enters the stage, Charles gives him a long talk just before the curtain rises, and Ben collapses with blood oozing from his mouth. So the show will revolve around Ben's unexpected death and hopefully a lot of flashback scenes as the trio unravels the events that led up to the star's untimely death.

Who stars in ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3?

The main cast including Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are going to reprise their roles as Charles, Oliver, and Mabel along with the addition of Paul Rudd, Ashely Park, and Meryl Streep who is confirmed to be in season three. Jesse Williams is also joining the cast of the show in a recurring role and will play a documentarian interested in the case Mabel, Charles, and Oliver are working on.

The rest of the cast is still unconfirmed, but maybe there's a chance we'll see more of Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Detective Williams, Ryan Broussard as Will Putnam, Zoe Colletti as Lucy, Tina Fey as Cinda Canning, Michael Cyril Creighton as Howard, Nathan Lane as Teddy Dimas, and James Caverly as Theo Dimas.

What is the buzz around ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3?

The audience is looking forward to going back to the 'Only Murders in the Building' podcast because of the story's jaw-dropping situations and plot twists. Season three will center on Oliver Putnam's story, as the first season concentrated on Mable Mora and Tim Kono, and season two on Charles-Haden Savage and his father.

The third season of 'Only Murders in the Building' will explore the theatrical side of New York City for the audience, and of course, the world of Oliver Putnam will be fascinating to observe.
