LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix is known for its out-of-the-box original content that explores an array of genres, from a laugh-out-loud comedies such as 'Never Have I Ever' to mind-bending adventures such as 'Dark' and 'Russian Doll'. Keeping in line with producing genre-bending content, Netflix has produced a series that brings together crime and comedy, namely 'Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery'. Released in 2022, the series was loved by audiences. The next season of the show will drop in March.

Titled 'Incastrati' in Italian, 'Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery' is created by Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagli. Season 1 of the series has six episodes. The series garnered praise for the perfect blend of rib-tickling humour and for holding the suspense till the end of the season, making it one of the most engaging series on Netflix.

The official synopsis of Season 1 of 'Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery' reads, "After two hapless TV technicians stumble upon a murder scene, every step they take to avoid becoming suspects lands them in deeper trouble." Though the identity of Alberto Gambrino's killer was not revealed at the end of Season 1, the trailer of the upcoming season confirmed that the killer was yet to be found even after a year. The trailer also showed Salvo and Valentino were not free, as trouble visits them again in the form of Tonino Macaluso. The synopsis of Season 2 reads, "As the police continue to search for Gambino's killer, Valentino, Salvo and their loved ones somehow become more mixed up in the crime's aftermath."
