LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 2022 musical film 'Elvis', based on the life of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, not only had a successful box office run but the film bagged eight Oscar nominations at the 95th Academy Award. The film starred Austin Butler in the lead role. Now it is time to look at the man who many consider the true king of rock 'n roll as the brand new musical documentary 'Little Richard: I Am Everything' is slated to release in April.

The upcoming film features the life of Richard Wayne Penniman who went by the name Little Richard. 'Little Richard: I Am Everything' premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The film directed by Lisa Cortes features archival footage from the legendary singer's career and personal life, along with never-before-seen interviews. The documentary is produced by Robert Friedman, Liz Yale Marsh, and Caryn Capotosto. CNN Films and HBO Max teamed up in association with Rolling Stone Films to bring the documentary to life.
