LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Peacock is now home to both classics like 'Parks & Rec' (2009-2015), 'Modern Family' (2009-2020), and 'The Office' (2009-2013), and originals like 'Poker Face' (2023) and 'The Traitors' (2023). 'Bel-Air' is one of Peacock's most-recognized originals that premiered in 2022. Season 2 of 'Bel-Air' is set to drop on the platform this February.

The Peacock original series is created by Andy Borowitz, Susan Borowitz, and TJ Brady. 'Bel-Air' is the modern-day rendition of Will Smith's 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'(1990-1996) but with a more serious tone, a contrast to the original series. The series is inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral trailer that reimagined the iconic series.

When will 'Bel-Air' season 2 premiere?

Season 2 of 'Bel-Air' is set to premiere on Thursday, February 23, 2023. The new season will have 10 episodes as well.

How can you watch 'Bel-Air' season 2?

Season 2 of 'Bel-Air' can be streamed exclusively on Peacock. The Peacock TV app is available for download in both Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store. The streaming service is also available to download and install on Sony's PlayStation 4. Besides, Peacock is also available on Apple TV and Amazon Firestick.

What is the plot of 'Bel-Air' season 2?

The premise of 'Bel-Air' on Peacock reads, "Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Peacock’s successful one-hour drama series Bel-Air imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known." Season 2 is set to continue the story of Season 1 of the series.

The official logline of season 2 reads, "Season two of Bel-Air picks up with Will at a crossroads in his life as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season. We’ll see Will and Carlton’s brotherhood start to evolve as they grow closer, but still challenge each other about their differences. We’ll also see Hilary evolve as she becomes more of a boss in her influencer world and how that spills over into her relationship with Jazz, and also highlight the relatable struggles around Viv and Phil balancing marriage and family while trying to forge their own career paths and reconnect to the things that are important to them."

Who stars in Peacock's 'Bel-Air' season 2?

The second season of 'Bel-Air' sees the return of almost all of the cast members from season 1. The returning cast includes Jabari Banks as Will Smith, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hillary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Simone Joy Jones as Lisa, Jordan L Jones as Jazz and Adrian Holmes as Philip Banks.
