When it comes to the cast of 'Welcome to Plathville', everyone knows that the big bad of the series is Kim and Barry. Fans have not liked the couple since the start, due to the rules they imposed on their children. But it looks like Season 4 is seeing a lot of interesting shifts, to say the least.

Kim and Barry have been together for 25 years, and it looks like now, Kim has reached a point where she is revaluating it all. Early on in the season, Kim spoke about how all she did was raise children and now, had no intention of living that way for the next 25 years. Kim even began rediscovering herself -- she started going to the gym, wearing clothes like skirts (things she once shamed Moriah for) and even indulging in rap music. But all of these changes come at the cost of her marriage, and Kim is willing to pay the price. Barry, however, is an entirely different story.

Having gotten Kim a new dance studio, Barry is now the one taking care of the household and kids. What he thought was a temporary phase his wife was going through is starting to look a lot more permanent to him, as he opened up about their crumbling marriage during his confessionals. Barry admitted that over the years, he was certainly the one at fault for not 'winning her heart' and missing out on opportunities like dates and such to make Kim feel more loved.

He hoped that the dance studio and his support would help reverse that damage, but it seems to have had the opposite effect, as Kim was now drifting further away while he felt left behind. Barry noted that he felt as though he was in the 'marriage twilight zone' and that Kim had also moved out of their bedroom and was now sleeping on the couch. He noted that he thought marriage would be till he died, "but in reality, it could end soon".

What do you think? Are Kim and Barry heading for a divorce? Or is this just a phase? Sound off in the comments below!

'Welcome To Plathville' Season 4 airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on TLC.
