When fans first encountered the Plath family back on Season 1 of 'Welcome to Plathville', everything about their lifestyle shocked them. The kids were expected to act and dress a certain way, made to focus only on religion and had to obey their parents no matter what. But now, it looks like Kim's strict rules seem to have gone right out the window, seeing that she now wants to reclaim her life.

'Welcome to Plathville': Is Micah Plath dating someone new?

Season 4 of 'Welcome To Plathville' has certainly begun on an interesting note, with Kim under the spotlight. The Plath family matriarch spoke about how she has started taking care of herself more often, visiting the gym regularly and trying to get back into doing what she loves -- dancing. With her weight loss underway, Kim has begun to dress differently, wearing shorter skirts, as she spoke about getting back into things she used to love, like rap music and more. While Kim is on her journey to find herself, fans found the whole ordeal hypocritical, seeing that she was now freely doing all the things she had once stopped her children from doing.

"So Kim's having a midlife crisis. #welcometoplathville" tweeted a fan. "Oh so Kim felt fat so she slut shamed her daughter for wearing little clothes. Now she lost weight and suddenly it's okay to wear mini skirts. #welcometoplathville" added another. "I thought Kim was against showing legs and arms for modesty….not cause of her body issues #WelcometoPlathville" agreed a fan. "So, all that this is telling me about Kim is that she was a fake and a fraud with all the rigamarole she was pushing on the older kids. She already told us she was a turn up queen in college. 😒 #welcometoplathville" tweeted a fan. "Kim can get wild now that she ruined her kids' lives. #welcometoplathville" pointed out another. "She put those older kids through hell and now everybody else is prancing around in pants and heels. I would be so mad #welcometoplathville" said a fan.
