Viewers dub 'American Idol' Season 22 finale 'rigged' as runner-up Will Moseley fails to win ABC show
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 22 recently awarded Abi Carter as the 2024 winner making Will Moseley the runner-up of the latest installment. However, the ABC show finale viewers were left disappointed and furious claiming Will was robbed in the singing competition.
During the finale, Will delivered a series of stirring performances including Jon Bon Jovi's song, 'It's My Life' and 'My Town' by Montgomery Gentry. Although he was a bit heartbroken after the winner's announcement, Will cheered Abi as a good friend.
After bagging the runner-up position, Will took to his Instagram and shared, "Feeling incredibly blessed to have been apart of this amazing journey. Finishing this journey on a high note and this is just the beginning!" He teased, "Get ready America, because this is just the launch pad of my music career. Here comes Will."
Fans are awaiting for his new songs but suggested that he should be the 'American Idol' Season 22 winner. A social media user commented under his social media post, "You should have won! You did amazing the whole time. Had my vote every night just like Lionel in the beginning I was voting at the first note. I'm ready to see what the future holds for you. it's just the beginning."

Will Moseley donates $20k to local school band
'American Idol' Season 22 finalist Will Moseley made a positive impact on his hometown, Hazlehurst, Georgia. Will, with help from 'Idol,' ABC and the CMA Foundation, donated $20,000 to the Jeff Davis High School band.
The surprising donation is said to transform the aspiring singers' careers. However, Abi Carter and Jake Blocker also donated a whopping amount to the local music programs in their hometown.
