'American Idol' Season 22 finale: Katy Perry slammed for comparing Will Moseley's 'low energy' sound to Jon Bon Jovi
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 22 finale is here, and fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the winner. Just before the winner's announcement, Will Moseley graced the ABC show for one last time. In the first round, the Top 3 finalists performed Jon Bon Jovi's hit songs.
Will chose to perform "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi, which was also the finalist's favorite song. After the performance, Lionel Richie exclaimed, "Way to go!" and added, "Let it go and enjoy yourself." Luke Bryan complimented him for putting his guitar aside, noting, "That thing had some teeth in it."
He added, "You were making it count." Katy Perry claimed, "You sound like Jon Bon Jovi." She added that he sounded "totally free". However, the ABC show viewers were not convinced by Will's performance and criticized Katy for comparing him to the singing legend, Bon Jovi.

'American Idol' Season 22 finalist Will Moseley recently took a trip back to his home in Georgia. He visited his childhood home and met with his father. After an emotional chat with his father, Will went to his primary school and had a fun conversation with the kids.
Will ended his day with an exciting performance, which the crowd thoroughly enjoyed. He called his community "the best place in the world."

He delivered an emotional tribute to his birthplace with Montgomery Gentry's song, "My Hometown." His father was visibly moved and on the verge of tears during the performance. Lionel Richie complimented, "That song said it all for you. How I feel about you. You got me crying on the song."
