V joining anti-cyberbullying campaign during BTS' 'Proof' comeback has fans proud
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: With BTS making a K-pop comeback after almost 2 years, fans were excited to receive their albums of 'Proof'. ARMY were further over the moon when BTS announced that they would also be releasing a 'Proof Collector's Edition'. This limited edition was finally shipped out to fans on September 29 and we have got tons of unboxing videos and scanned photos making the rounds on the Internet. Well, one of the scans includes BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung who took the most innovative way to make a statement during his photoshoot for the collector's edition.
V's Spotify profile photo was of him under blue lighting and a lipstick mark on his hand which had fans wondering if someone had kissed his hand. Well, we finally got the behind-the-scenes with BTS' 'Proof Collector's Edition' photobook. In it, we got photos of V wearing red lipstick that has now gone viral on ARMY Twitter. In one, he is posing with smudged lipstick while in another he kisses his own hand to create a lip print. Looks like the final result was used as his Spotify profile photo. Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that this pose was actually part of an anti-cyberbullying protest.

BTS' V takes a stand against cyberbullying
Back in 2016, a new trend had popped up where celebrities and influencers were taking a stand against cyberbullying. As a show of solidarity and to alert victims of a safe space, they posted selfies of them putting a lipstick kiss mark on the back of their hands. We still have celebrities now and again joining this trend to participate in the campaign. And it looks like BTS' V has joined in too now. With V often doing his part like participating in a social media campaign for queer kids in 2020, fans do not think the lipstick photo was a coincidence.
