Fans were first over the moon when TXT finally announced their first-ever world tour ‘Act: Love Sick’ right in between the pre-promotions for their upcoming album release ‘Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’. MOAs (TXT’s fandom) could now decide what to focus on as BigHit dropped dates for the US leg of the tour while the album crossed 1.4 million pre-orders. This makes TXT’s album the 10th most pre-ordered album in K-pop history.

And while fans were celebrating this achievement, we finally got more details on TXT’s first world tour such as the concert venues. TXT will begin ‘Act: Love Sick’ at Jamsil Arena in Seoul on July 2. The K-pop group will then head to Chicago on July 7 to kick off the US leg of the tour. They will be performing at venues like the Rosemont Theatre, Hulu Theatre, Fox Theatre, Texas Trust CU Theatre, Smart Financial Centre, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and Microsoft Theatre.

TXT’s first world tour in 3 years has small venues

Unfortunately, the average seating capacity of the venues is 6,000. MOAs are angry that despite the immense demand, TXT’s first world tour is not allowed to unleash its full potential. In fact, their debut showcase in the USA back in 2019 at similar venues had been sold out in minutes. The smallest theatre has 4.4k seats while the largest venue is the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with only 8.5k seats. Meanwhile, TXT’s peers like Stray Kids and Ateez are currently on their second world tour at the likes of huge arenas like Prudential Centre, Uniter Centre, Oakland Arena, Wembley, Mercedes-Benz Arena and Accor with an average of 20k seats.

The sale of tickets for TXT's world tour will begin in the next few days on their website.

'We don’t want ANT SIZED VENUES'

MOAs are angry as one fan tweeted, “Bighit just pissed me off sooooo badddd…txt sold out these same small ass theatres in minutes for the US showcase they did TWO years ago and they don’t think they should’ve gotten bigger venues for this tour?” Another fan was surprised, “Txt just past 1M presales and their biggest venue capacity is… checks paper… 10k.” One posted, “Bighit must still think txt is in their debut era, these boys are FAMOUS.”

Another MOA shared photos of how small the venues were, “You think this stage is enough for txt to performance their choreographies? to use backup dancers? to move without getting hurt??” One fan said, “How can moas do this if you’re gonna give them small stages that txt’s long legs can’t  even fit?!?!?” Another MOA commented, “We don’t want ANT SIZED VENUES!” One added, “THIS IS A FCKING CONCERT NOT A GRADUATION CEREMONY.”

Another shared, “And when will be the 2nd world tour 2024??? Give TXT and MOA what we deserve for their first world tour in 3 years!” One MOA wrote, “Txt's FIRST world tour since debut! a lot of moas have been waiting for this for years! our fandom has grown so much! what's with the small theatre ?! MY BOYS DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS !”
