2022 truly is redeeming itself. We are finally getting in-person, offline concerts and events like KCON. Legendary K-pop acts are reuniting or making a comeback like BIGBANG, 2NE1, PSY, GOT7, BTS and Blackpink. Groups, that had debuted during or just before the lockdown era, are getting a chance to meet their fans in person and perform for them for the first time. Similarly, TXT has announced its very first world tour.

Having debuted in 2019, TXT got a chance to perform in the US as they held a debut showcase at six stops back in May 2019 from LA to New York. However, that was it. The K-pop group did hold three concerts in Seoul and an online concert since then but it has been a while since international MOAs (TXT’s fans) have seen them perform live. But there’s good news. While TXT has been dropping teasers for their upcoming album release ‘Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’ for May 9, they went ahead and announced ‘Act: Love Sick’, their first world tour.

TXT announces US dates for first world tour

On April 26, TXT announced that they would be going on their first world tour ‘Act: Love Sick’ and it is set to begin in Seoul in July. After a two-day concert, they will be flying to Chicago followed by seven stops in the US. But that’s not the end of it. Their label Big Hit’s website states that more dates are to be revealed later which has fans all over the world excited. With TXT’s 2019 US showcase being sold out within 5 minutes of the sale, one fan tweeted, “Good luck everyone, it won't be easy!” The sheer suddenness of Big Hit’s move had another fan posting, “MOA, I SAID STOP PRANKING US BY LOOKING LIKE BIGHIT'S OFFICIAL ACCOUNT. IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE.”
