Prepare yourselves to say goodbye to the Mayans this summer

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Mayans are preparing for their last ride. 'The Sons of Anarchy' spinoff series 'Mayans MC' is all set to premiere its fifth and final season on FX in May. The show has released a rather dangerous-looking black-and-white teaser for the final installment. Besides, we also have a premiere date.

'Sons of Anarchy', which takes place in the Central Valley of California, ran on FX for seven seasons from 2008 to 2014. After that, in 2018, 'Mayans MC' made its network debut. The spinoff, which is set in the fictitious border town of Santo Padre, California, takes place two and a half years after the original series and centers on the Mayans, a rival biker gang to the Sons of Anarchy. When will 'Mayans MC' Season 5 air?

The fifth and final season of 'Mayans MC' will debut on FX on May 24 at 10 pm ET/PT. It will be available to stream on Hulu the following day. The 10-episode final season's first two episodes will be included in the premiere, and one new episode will air the following week. The show will be accessible on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other regions under the Star label.

The official synopsis of the spin-off series reads, "Set in a post-Jax Teller world, "Mayans MC" sees EZ Reyes, a former golden boy now fresh out of prison, as a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California-Mexico border who must carve out his new outlaw identity."

The eerie black-and-white trailer from FX, in which the titular motorbike club attempts to outride death, has made fans go gaga. Fan reactions on Twitter showed excitement and anticipation as one commented, "May 24 Mayans is Going to be a Bomb 💣💣💣💣💣💣💯". Another said, "SING HALLELUJAH WE HAVE A DATE!!"

Anybody know who's doing the music in this trailer?" Someone else commented, "I'm so hyped for this, the final ride though. Hopefully Álvarez will make it, he's been through it all. 👏" Another said, "So happy to have a premier date, so sad it’s last season.."
